Emeryville is a small corridor between Berkeley and Oakland bordered by the eastern shore of the Bay. The major employer is Pixar Animation Studios. Locals who enjoy Pixar’s iconic animated feature films can often spot local landmarks and references in many of those movies.  Another major employer is IKEA, which anchors the well-known Bay Street shopping complex, an imaginative collection of retailers, entertainment, hospitality and residential opportunities. The destination shopper’s paradise comprises more than 382,000 square feet and draws visitors from all over the greater Bay Area.
